RICE STITCH is the seventh stitch required for Mary Hurst.
This is a favourite stitch that adds a lovely texture.
Working from the left shows the the six stages of the stitch worked over 4 threads.
The next rice is a smaller version worked over two threads.
The stitch furthest to the right is a diagonal rice stitch.
All three versions will be used in Mary to great effect.
I am sorry that this is hand drawn but I could not find one to use from the internet.
